Welcome to our design space at the Pasadena Showcase House of Design. This “oasis” features a beautiful collection of koi fish, gracefully swimming in a 5’x8’ pond.

Our modern, clean-cut paver patio is customized to intertwine with large seating boulders. By bringing the pathway right to the edge of the pond, we showcase our favorite cantilever effect. Softening the design, California-friendly plants and a stunning live plant wall surrounds the area, while lights can be seen hanging from the trees, extending the ambiance into the evening hours.

Pond, Patio and Duel Waterfalls!

This is an area approximately 9’ x 30’ that was originally designed to be a landscaped with hedges to soften the stucco wall directly out the living room exterior doors.

Thankfully this client decided to scrap the boring old hedges and have a water feature installed instead. Trust me, no one notices that wall with this gorgeous pond and duel waterfalls there to greet you as you walk out to the backdoor. It truly is their favorite place in the entire house for friends and family to just hang out and relax, day or night!

We heard their cry for help to find the “most next level pond builders in the game” to complete their dream home vision at The Maverick House. We responded with exactly that, teaming up with over 30 Aquascape Contractors to build the most stunning koi pond in his “zen garden”. We couldn’t be happier with how it turned out and hosting all of these amazing contractors!

William Shatner’s Koi Pond

William called in the Pro’s to get this job done right. He had an existing pond that needed some serious TLC! We took apart his pond and stream, completely redesigning the stream, waterfall and full natural rock lining and bottom of the pond. We turned this old style looking pond into something that looks like it existed in nature! William absolutely loved his new oasis and had imported some amazing koi fish straight from Japan.
